The Assad regime was considered to be bloodthirsty and Bashar al Assad has been accused of ordering the mass murder of thousands of his citizens. A few months ago, there was a palace coup and a terrorist with a few hundred men—backed by Turkey’s leader—took over the country. It’s gone from bad to worse.

The new Al Qaeda government in Syria is rounding up Christians and has slaughtered 7,000, or perhaps even more, in the past few days.

• A Muslim preacher in Syria openly calls for the genocide of Syrian Christians and justifies the recent massacres: “As long as you, Christians, raise the cross, we will not leave you. We will fight you until the last one of you is gone.”

They’re not just capturing and murdering Christians, but also Druze, Kurds, and Alawite Muslims—the party of ousted President Assad. Sharaa claims that such mass killings are a threat to his mission to unite the country. He promises to punish those responsible, including his own allies, if necessary.

Renewed fighting has disrupted the capital of Damascus and the second city of Aleppo. It follows days of clashes in Assad’s former strongholds along Syria's Mediterranean coast: the cities of Latakia, Jableh, and Tartous.

• A defense ministry spokesman says Assad loyalists residing in those cities have been killed

• Christians, who have a significant presence in Latakia, were also slaughtered

• Local residents told Reuters that thousands of people, including Christians, Druze, and Alawites, have fled the areas to nearby mountains for safety

• The Christian population in Syria has drastically dwindled since the start of the civil war; only around 300,000 Christians remain

US Secretary of State Marco Rubio said in a Sunday statement:

"The United States condemns the radical Islamist terrorists, including foreign jihadis, that murdered people in western Syria in recent days. The United States stands with Syria's religious and ethnic minorities, including its Christian, Druze, Alawite, and Kurdish communities, and offers its condolences to the victims and their families. Syria's interim authorities must hold the perpetrators of these massacres against Syria's minority communities accountable."

Iran and former President Assad were allies, and Iran has been accused of being involved in the violence. A spokesman for Iran has rejected the accusation and condemned attacks on minorities in Syria.

Why this Matters: President Trump warned us ten years ago that this was coming. He remarked in 2015 that the problem in Syria is we have no idea who the other side are. “Maybe we’re better off with Assad,” he said. “We give [the rebels] weapons and ammunition, but to me, Assad looks better than the other side.”

Coming to a City Near You?

This insanity has come to the US—not just Dearborn, Michigan or Hamtramck, which have fully been overtaken, but now New Jersey, too. There are 15 mosques and about 30,000 Muslims in the 156,000-person town of Paterson, New Jersey. Paterson has been declared the American capital of Palestine by local leaders, and the Mecca of New Jersey.

In 2022, part of Main Street in Paterson was renamed "Palestinian Way.”

Romania

Romania is under attack by the world-wide deep state. Calin Georgescu, a conservative, won the first round in Romania’s presidential election. The EU was so disturbed by his policies—he is critical of NATO and opposes Romanian support for Ukraine against Russia's invasion—that they cancelled the results and began a new election process. He is banned from running again. Georgescu warns, “If democracy in Romania falls, the entire democratic world will fall! This is just the beginning. Europe is under dictatorship!”

Inside Romania, a NATO military base is under construction to prepare for a war with Russia. Elon Musk had planned a visit, but has canceled his trip amid security concerns.

Why this Matters: The situation in Romania gives us a glimpse into what would have happened if the US Supreme Court ruled Trump didn’t win the 2016 election due to Russian interference—and then prohibited Trump from running again in 2020, or ever.

Canada

Mark Carney has been voted to become leader of the Liberal Party of Canada, and is prime minister-designate. He is a self-described globalist, a central banker, and member of the World Economic Forum. His goal is net zero carbon emissions, which means the end of the oil and gas industry and everything connected with it.

Carney was born in Canada, but also holds passports for Ireland and the UK.

Only party members who had registered and were verified to participate were allowed to vote. Carney won 86 percent, but just 131,674 votes. According to journalist Ezra Levant, foreign nationals as young as 14 were allowed to vote as long as they were permanent residents. He says that two-thirds of the 400,000 people who registered to vote were disqualified.

Why this Matters: Mark Carney doesn’t represent the pulse of Canada, but was “installed,” or selected, by a small group of globalists. Because the Liberals currently hold a minority government, he will soon replace Trudeau. The opposition parties could trigger a general election via a no-confidence vote when Parliament reconvenes.

CBP One App Flipped to Deport Illegals

The Trump administration “repurposed” Biden’s CBP One app that made it very easy for illegals to enter the country and begin receiving taxpayer-funded aid. Now the app is a self-deportation portal that will automatically update and enable DHS to help illegals remove themselves.

DHS Secretary Kristi Noem said if these aliens go willingly and on their own, they will have the opportunity to return legally in the future. “If they don’t,” she said in a statement, “we will find them, we will deport them, and they will never return.”

About 40,000-50,000 aliens were entering the US every month via the CBP One app during the Biden years.

Mahmoud Khalil, who was involved in the anti-semitism protests last week at Columbia University, was supposed to be removed from the USA. However, a federal judge in New York has blocked the Trump administration’s attempt to deport him. Khalil is a special protege of former USAID head Samantha Power. He is a former worker for UNRWA, a UN humanitarian program that was found to be infested with pro-Hamas staffers.

Under the Immigration and Naturalization Act, if you support a terrorist organization, you can be deported. Hamas is a terrorist organization.

The taxpayers have also been supporting illegals via Medicaid. The voters want that to end:

• 71 percent of voters approve of removing illegal immigrants and requiring able-bodied recipients to work.

• 88 percent of Republicans and 51 percent of Democrats back the proposal.

Notably, Alexandria Ocasio-Cortes knowingly hired an illegal alien, who had not been authorized to work in the US, as her chief of staff. She used the power of her office to get him a social security number and put him on the government payroll.

The Department of Justice announced that US Army soldiers Li Tian, Ruoyu Duan, and Jian Zhao were indicted for selling secrets to China.

How to Pray: For the persecuted Church—may they find great hope and peace in Jesus. Pray for an end to the terrorism in Syria, and that freedom will return to Romania, Canada, and the progressive corners of the US. Ask God to continue to lead and guide our President.
