President Trump’s pair of “Salute to America” speeches in honor of our 250th birthday were befitting the greatest nation on earth. On Saturday, he honored our heroes, highlighted our triumphs, and named the greatest current threat to our liberty.
World War II veterans were invited onstage at the National Mall to be celebrated and remembered.
From Mount Rushmore on Friday, Trump reminded us that “liberty has not endured for 250 years merely because of words on paper. Liberty has prevailed here because of the culture and character of the people who declared it, defended it, and preserved it.”
And, freedom will be lost if we give in the flood of anti-American and Communist newcomers who only want to “pillage and loot” our people and our land.

“They don’t want good,” he stated. “They don’t love God, and they don’t want God. They don’t love religion, and they don’t want religion, and they won’t have it, but we will not let them win. They have no chance against us. They have no respect for law, justice, principle, tradition, or your God-given rights.
“The first thing they do when they get into power is turn around and destroy it,” the President said.
It was a needed reminder that freedom is one generation away from extinction, especially now with the emergence of DSA, a new faction of the Democrat Party.
Enemies Joining Forces
What makes it tricky is the disparate ideologies of these new allies. In the Democratic Socialists of America, Communists sidle up to Muslims, Muslims curl up with Transgenders, and Feminists flirt with Islam. None of it makes sense, unless the goal is to topple America together, and then divide the spoils. This Red-Green-Rainbow alliance is winning primary elections, taking over school boards, and presiding as mayors over our largest cities.
Rather than fight the takeover, mainstream Democrats are caving in. The Party’s leaders are in big trouble.
Minority Leader Senator Chuck Schumer’s approval rating has fallen 40 points in the past five years. He’s underwater by a point and got booed at the NYC Pride Parade.
House Minority Leader Hakeem Jeffries was told, “You’re next!” when he crashed a post-primary party in NYC. When asked what he planned to do about the DSA takeover of his Party, he blamed President Trump.
The DSA platform wants to rearrange the furniture of the Republic by replacing the Constitution, removing police and armed forces, taking over business, punishing landlords and giving away free stuff. And because they’re antisemitic, the crowning jewel is handing Jerusalem over to radical Islam.
The center-left members of the Democrat Party are losing their grip—and with it, their ability to win broad-base support in elections. That’s why Republicans are likely to win in November.
Just in the nick of time.
Losing their Grip
Forecasters say Republicans will take the US House with 215 seats to Democrats’ 206 seats, and the GOP is likely to take the Senate, by a 59 percent chance.
It’s early days and this assumes that the Republican base will be energized to vote for imperfect candidates. Unlike the GOP, Democrats support their candidates no matter how crazy, as long as they’re likely to win.
42 percent of Democrats preferred to vote for candidates who had the “best chance to beat the other party” over candidates who come “closest to [their] views.”
That number is just 27 percent among Republicans.
Returning Power to POTUS
The Democrat Party is in real trouble. They have two cards remaining: steal elections, and keep the GOP ineffective through Deep State holdouts. These are the long-time federal employees who love Big Government and don’t care who’s in office. And it’s exactly why the Supreme Court’s ruling that the President has executive authority to fire heads of agencies “without cause” was so significant.
The ripple effect was instantaneous. It also affects people in every federal job.
Bill Pulte, newly appointed Director of National Intelligence, began massive firings after rumors that employees were holding back information and evading directives. That kind of behavior has been going on for years in every federal agency while Trump was President.
This action was followed by the White House moving thousands of employees onto “Schedule F,” which means that if fired, they’re not allowed to bring their case before the Merit Systems Protection Board.
They have to clean out their desks and go home. No waiting around for years while they use administrative loopholes to stay employed.
Trump wrote: “Today’s Historic Slaughter Decision by the Supreme Court is the Greatest Increase in Presidential Power in the last 100 years. Such a Monumental Ruling at such an important time!”
SCOTUS also ruled that Fed Commissioner Lisa Cook, who has been accused of mortgage fraud, cannot be fired. Trump’s response is below:
Cook has been accused of claiming two primary residences on two loans made within two weeks. Bill Pulte, the former Housing Secretary who brought those allegations forward, predicts Cook will be indicted.
Why this Matters: The Fed Reserve Board, on which Cook sits, sets interest rates for the entire US economy. The Fed is not under any particular branch of the federal government. Currently, the fight for control of our monetary policy gets decided by unelected officials who can’t be fired.
Other Rulings
LOSS - States must keep counting ballots in federal elections until all the mail-ins have arrived. It could take days, weeks, or months.
WIN - Men and boys cannot play in women’s sports.
LOSS - There is no parameter on birthright citizenship under the 14th Amendment—meaning women can arrange to give birth in the USA, so the baby gets healthcare, WIC, education, and a passport. Baby also provides a “chain” to bring in his relatives. Both Justices Alito and Thomas wrote scathing dissents.
WIN - The Court ruled in Chatrie v. US that your cell phone data is private. If police want that information, they must obtain a warrant under the Fourth Amendment
WIN - The Colorado Supreme Court has unanimously blocked Democrat redistricting efforts which would have given Democrats three more seats in the US House of Representatives. The delegation will remain 4R-4D.
Why this Matters: Congress could take up a narrow bill that addresses “birth tourism” and the practice of pregnant women coming to the USA just to give birth. If Republicans also passed the SAVE Act to require voter ID, that would be a big help in restoring election security, trust, and confidence.

President Trump’s approval remains strong. He delivered a dynamic, hopeful message to millions of Americans who have not given up on our future and will fight to preserve our nation.
How to Pray: Praise God for small victories! Pray that the difference between good policies and evil agendas will become so obvious that people can’t help but vote for a conservative agenda in the midterms. Pray for President Trump’s safety and wisdom and that God would give him work-arounds when faced with bad rulings.
