The political and cultural landscape is frightening. Trump’s New York trial is out of control, with the rule of law being turned on its head, college faculty joining students to shut down campuses and make them a Jewish no-go zone, and Joe Biden keeps issuing destructive policies. It is a strange time to be alive. However, there are several reasons to be optimistic.
1. Failing Campus Crusade
Let’s start with the campus riots and encampments. There are some colleges who came out ahead, and eventually de-camped the protesters and took their campuses back. Others are losers, like Brown University, where administrators agreed to vote in October on a divestment measure. This means they will agree to boycott anything coming out of Israel. Columbia wasn’t far behind, with its president promising to break off ties with Israel. Northwestern University illegally promised to dole out $1.9 million, in jobs and spaces to Palestinians following their campus protests.
You can tell by looking at the mug shots above that these protesters are hardly fresh-faced students. When encampments are shut down, the professionals move on to create problems at other locations. For example, after Columbia was divested of the protesters, they set up camp at Fordham. Same tents, signs, and tactics.
But the highlight of the week so far is a showing from fraternity brothers of Pi Kappa Phi at UNC-Chapel Hill, who aided police in fending off protesters and raising the American flag. They made sure it never touched the ground.
From one of the men:
“Today was a sad yet empowering day at Chapel Hill. When I walked to class, I saw the Palestinian flag raised on our quad flag pole, and was immediately upset at the act that these ‘protestors’ had made. I cannot say I am fully educated on the Israel/Palestine conflict but it upset me that my country's flag was disrespected in order to advocate for another. Shortly after, Chancellor Roberts came with police officers to hang the flag once again. They were met with profanity, middle fingers, thrown bottles, rocks, and water.
When the flag was raised once again, the Greek community began singing the National anthem. As the Chancellor left, the quad erupted into chaos as protestors began removing the flag once again, preparing to destroy it.
My fraternity brother and others ran over to hold it up, in order for it not to touch the ground. People began throwing water bottles at us, rocks, sticks, calling us profane names. We stood for an hour defending the flag so many fight to protect.
My parents started a new life in the United States, a country that has helped them flourish and raise two kids. I grew up in a Military community and saw first hand the sacrifices they make. I will not stand for the disrespect these ‘protestors’ cause for the sake of another country. My LDOC [last day of class] will be memorable in knowing that my fraternity brothers and others fought to keep the flag up. But it will also be memorable in knowing that so many yearn to disrespect it.”
Why this Matters: In the midst of this travesty, Biden announced that he will be approving $6.1 billion in student debt cancellation for 317,000 borrowers who attended the Art Institutes. How many of these “borrowers” were protesting? How many now have a useless degree which the rest of us will be paying for? The Democrats are successfully transferring wealth from hard-working Americans to students paying up to $90,000 a year to play at getting an education, while being schooled in how to destroy America.
2. Renewed Fight to Get Males Out
Next, there’s a small win in the effort to rid men from women’s spaces. Do you remember the five female middle school shot-putters in West Virginia, who refused to compete against a boy? They have been tossed off the team and will not be allowed to compete again.
What is unfair and unacceptable is now being challenged. A bunch of legal organizations, along with several states, have filed two separate lawsuits against the Biden Administration over their rewrite of Title IX. Biden tweaked it to require that any institution that receives federal funding include biological males in female sports and spaces. This also applies to academic and athletic scholarships.
The rewrite makes it “harassment” to misgender students, it removes parents’ rights to access school information about their child, and takes certain decisions away from them.
Alabama Attorney General Steve Marshall, who joined one of the lawsuits, said that he expects the rule to be “struck down swiftly.”
3. Rancher Freed After Murder Charge
Many people concerned about the right to protect one’s home and property have been watching the trial of George Kelly, who was charged with murdering an illegal alien. George and Wanda Kelly were eating lunch at their ranch on the Arizona/Mexico border. They heard a shot and saw a group of armed migrants on their land. George told Wanda to hide and called Border Patrol for help. He fired warning shots in the air to scare off the intruders.
When Border Patrol came to the property, they searched the area and found nothing. But later that night, George went to check on his horse and discovered a body. He immediately called law enforcement.
Gabriel Cuen-Buitimea, who had multiple arrests for illegal crossings, was the dead man. No weapon or bullet was ever found, and despite the lack of forensics, George Kelly, 74, was charged with first degree murder. The bail was set at an unprecedented $1 million. The case went to jury trial, and the jury voted 7 to 1 not guilty, which makes it a mistrial. The state will not retry the case, and George Kelly is free.
4. Election Integrity Win in PA
Next, we have an important election integrity victory in Pennsylvania. This was the state that had a myriad of issues with absentee ballots, including a fight over accepting ballots with postmarked dates past the election. It looks like this November, the rules will be tighter, after a court affirmed that any mail-in ballots that arrive in envelopes missing a date—or with an incorrect date—are invalid.
According to the Epoch Times, there were the major problems in 2020 with mail-in ballots:
More than 51,000 were marked as “returned” just a day after they were sent out.
Nearly 35,000 were returned on the same day they were mailed out.
More than 23,000 had an impossible return date—earlier than the sent date.
There were 9,000 with no “sent” date.
The 3rd Circuit Court of Appeals rejected an attempt from several left-wing groups to challenge their March ruling regarding invalid ballots. These groups claimed that such a demand violated the Civil Rights Act.
5. Supremes Allow Residents to Secede
The Louisiana Supreme Court paved the way for residents to secede from Democrat-run Baton Rouge and create their own city. The new city, St. George, will have nearly 100,000 people, making it one of the state’s most populous. Andrew Murrell, who led the way to secession, said upon hearing the ruling,
“This is the culmination of citizens exercising their constitutional rights. Now we begin the process of delivering on our promises of a better city.”
Why this Matters: Won’t it be interesting to see what other cities follow suit? There may be a separation of economically prosperous areas, where cops are able to function properly, from those which are run by gangs and corrupt politicians.
6. Exposure Reveals Problems For Biden
Now, let’s look at several revelations that create problems for Biden’s election outlook. Trump is currently leading by impressive numbers in the all-important swing states. It seems that the harder Biden’s Department of Justice goes after him, the bigger Trump’s lead grows.
Raid on Mar-a-Lago was a Fed Set-Up
The National Archives worked with the Trump transition team to send two pallets of “document boxes” to Mar-a-Lago. This was done one year before Special Counsel Jack Smith raided the residence to look for classified material. The fix was in from the start.
The White House visitor log shows that David Ferriero, the Obama-appointed national archivist, met with Biden's White House lawyer Dana Remus at the White House twice in Sept 2021.
The National Archives (NARA) began harassing Trump throughout 2021 for what they insisted were government records.
In their search, NARA did not contact the GSA (General Services Administration), which held dozens of Trump’s boxes.
DOJ prosecutor Michael Thakur was told by a witness that after Trump was out, the GSA took a bunch of White House boxes and stored them in Virginia.
The boxes were divided and an entire pallet of boxes with classified material was sent by the GSA to Mar-a-Lago—which gave them an excuse for the raid.
After indicting President Trump in June 2023, the Department of Energy retroactively terminated Trump’s security clearance.
Why this Matters: When Attorney General Merrick Garland insisted that the DOJ acted independently of the Biden administration, he was lying. He knew his agency was criminally charging Trump, and even instructed NARA how to disguise DOJ coordination.
A 300-page interim report released last week reveals that Manhattan District Attorney Alvin Bragg had a political vendetta against President Trump. Rep. Jim Jordan’s Judiciary Committee did an investigation and issued the report, which was initially blocked by Speaker Johnson. Instead of calling out the DOJ and FBI, Johnson pushed to get their funding approved, including millions for a brand new FBI facility. He also made sure that the report was kept back until after Trump’s ridiculous New York trial began. Did he do this on purpose to please establishment Republicans who do not want Trump back in the White House?
Importing Communists, Gazan Voters
It’s becoming undeniable. President Biden is importing new voters from Communist countries. Internal DHS data just released via Republican subpoena shows that 45+ American cities secretly received hundreds of thousands of migrants from Cuba, Honduras, Nicaragua, and Venezuela. They are flown in from welcome centers in these countries, paid for by NGOs or private funds.
From January-August 2023, about 200,000 migrants flew into the US
80 percent of them—162,000—were sent to Florida.
Every one of them will be recruited to vote in November. Democrats are fighting to remove voter ID laws across the country via Biden’s Department of Justice, and Democrat lawmakers and organizations oppose citizenship verification to vote.
Next, President Biden is considering bringing Palestinians from Gaza into the United States as refugees, according to CBS News. One proposal is that those who have escaped into Egypt, have ties to the US, and are eligible, will be flown into the United States. Here they will receive refugee status, housing assistance and a path towards citizenship.
Why this Matters: It couldn’t have been more perfectly orchestrated to fall in a week of pro-Palestine chaos. They won’t be happy here unless they topple the rule of law. A poll of Palestinians conducted by the Arab World for Research and Development after the October 7 massacre found:
97.6 percent viewed the US very negatively
76 percent viewed Hamas positively
It is hard to imagine a worse immigration program--another reason for people NOT to vote for Biden.
How to Pray: A small group of GOP lawmakers are bringing in a motion to vacate the chair against Speaker Mike Johnson. Rep. Marjorie Taylor-Greene (R-GA) and Rep. Thomas Massie (R-KY) are fed up with Johnson’s capitulation to the Democrats. They make the case that the conservative voting base has lost all confidence in Republicans’ ability to represent them. They fear that come November, the voters will not turn out to vote except for Donald Trump—and they may be right.
Thank God for these victories! Pray for God to lead in this matter of Speaker and for Christians on Capitol Hill to listen to HIM. Pray for Donald Trump as he sits through long days in court instead of campaigning. May God’s justice come through!
2 Ch. 15:7 - Be ye strong therefore, and let not your hands be weak: for your work shall be rewarded.
Proverbs 14:26 - In the fear of the LORD is strong confidence: and his children shall have a place of refuge.
Lady, love the hopeful, God-centered posts. No matter what, God wins and every knee will bow to Jesus. Sad to see these evil Republicans and Deplorable but God has this!
