Democrats Prove They're "Not Normal"

Most Presidents wait a year before delivering a “state of the union” address, which is required by law. Not Donald Trump. He already has enough accomplishments to fill an hour and 40 minutes, which he did last night. And while the chamber audience and viewers at home cheered the victories and honored the fallen, Democrats sat in stoney silence. They didn’t approve of the man, his accomplishments, the future, or anyone who agrees with what Trump is doing.

But that was, and is, a huge mistake.

You see, the President laid a trap for them saying that no matter what he did—he couldn’t make them happy, or stand, or applaud. If he should find a cure to a devastating disease or answer the greatest economic questions or reduce crime to the lowest levels ever recorded, he said, “These people sitting right here will not clap, will not stand, and will not cheer, no matter what. It’s very sad and it shouldn’t be this way.”

He was right.

They held up silly paddles with messages like “False,” “Elon Steals,” “Save Medicaid,” and, “This is not normal.”

The truth is, they’re not normal!

Their first casualty of the night was Rep. Al Green from Texas, trying to shout down the President. He was told several times to control himself, but would not or could not. Finally, he had to be escorted from the room by the Sergeant-at-arms.

The First Lady invited the families of several victims who were brutally assaulted and finally killed by illegal aliens. As the President named each one and introduced their families, the Democrats scowled and scoffed.

Trump reminded us that border crossings are now the lowest in history, but he was quick to point out that the media and “our friends in the Democrat Party” insisted that we needed new legislation to secure the border. “It turns out,” Trump said, “that all we needed was a new president.” How true!

Donald Trump also recognized a 13-year-old boy with terminal brain cancer who wants with all his heart to be a police officer. DJ Daniels was introduced by his father, and then was made an honorary member of the Secret Service. DJ’s eyes grew in delight and surprise, and when the head of the Secret Service presented him with his new “credentials,” DJ gave him a hug.

What a moment!

But the Democrats couldn’t be bothered to applaud—all except for Rep. Laura Gillen. The camera panned to Rep. Debby Dingell (D-MI), who rolled her eyes and closed her ear at the applause. Oops. That clip went viral and there’s no opportunity for a do-over.

Rachel Maddow of MSNBC tried to shame the President for inviting DJ to the speech. Maddow called it a “disgusting spectacle,” and accused DOGE of cutting off funding for pediatric cancer research.

This isn’t true. The money is allocated by Congress, which put the funding in a different re-authorization bill and passed it in December. To put it mildly, not cheering for a dream-come-true for a young man with cancer—that’s not normal.

The Democrats also refused to honor

• The 13 service members who died in Biden’s botched pull-out from Afghanistan

• The mom who heroically saved her daughter from mutilation after she was secretly trans-indoctrinated by her school

• Payton McNabb, who suffered a traumatic brain injury and was partially paralyzed during a volleyball game when a transgender player smashed the ball into her face

Trump just signed an Executive Order directing all schools that receive federal funding to keep men out of women’s sports, or lose the money.

Perfect Just the Way God Made You

Donald Trump reminded everyone that no child is born in the wrong body. He said, “My message to every child in America is that you are perfect just the way God made you.” He hit the ball out of the park for conservative Christians—while Democrats held up their stupid paddles saying “Lies.”

The Democrat women remained unmoved, wearing pink and “standing in solidarity as the resistance party.” This is absurd because a few days ago, these same feminists refused to vote to approve the Save Women’s Sports Act. It was designed to prohibit boys in girls’ sports and needed just a few Democrat votes to pass—but they failed to support it.

This is now the party that protects and promotes abnormal culture and violence against women. They have nothing to offer but idle threats and lock-step, top-down thinking. Yesterday, 24 Democrat lawmakers released identical videos of themselves reading from a script of lies about Donald Trump, Elon Musk, and DOGE. The videos were produced like a Hollywood short.

They have convinced themselves that the public joins them in their hatred for Donald Trump and love of big, expensive government. Their plan for the future is to have Kamala Harris and Tim Waltz both run in the primary for president. Another name has been thrown out there, Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez. She recently said about Elon Musk that he is not a scientist, nor an engineer. “He is a billionaire con man with a lot of money.”

We would like to ask AOC which one best defines Musk’s lack of credentials—his founding of PayPal, the rocket ships he built with landing pads that “catch” them on their return to earth, or Starlink, his satellite internet constellation?

Cut their Funding ASAP

Donald Trump went through some of the bizarre and ridiculous projects funded by our tax dollars. Even though Democrats are doing their best to stop him from taking a “chain saw” to their pet projects, Trump is winning the battle just by reading what DOGE has uncovered. And, in Trump fashion, the President turned the spending waste and abuse into a comedy sketch with his comments:

• “$40 million to improve the social and economic inclusion of sedentary migrants. Nobody knows what that is.”

• “$8 million to promote LGBTQI+ in the African nation of Lesotho—which nobody has ever heard of.”

• $8 million for making mice transgender. This is real.”

The Swamp Fights Back

Lawfare and not-normal judges are all the Democrats have to fall back on. They are winning some battles, but the war in not over. For example:

• A Federal Judge blocked Trump's attempt to terminate government credit cards with spending limits of $10,000. DOGE quickly reduced the spending limit to $1.00 per transaction.

• The Supreme Court sided with USAID, forcing Trump to release $2 billion in payouts. It was a 5-4 decision (Chief Justice Roberts and Amy Coney Barrett voted with the liberals), but it can be appealed.

The President spoke of his vision for US manufacturing, naming the commitments he has so far for $750 trillion in investments from Apple and others. He also wants peace in Ukraine, and said he has cut all US aid. In the meantime, Trump hopes to secure a deal to mine Ukraine’s rare earth minerals, in exchange for US peace-keeping troops on the ground. He said we’ve already sent billions of dollars to Ukraine…

At this, the Democrats finally applauded.

Sen. Elizabeth Warren kept clapping at the idea of continuing the war in Ukraine, even though 2,000 soldiers die every week. She signaled that she hoped the funding and war would go on for another “five years.”

Trump: “The US has sent hundreds of billions of dollars to support Ukraine's defense... [Democrats clap]

Trump: “Do you want to keep it going another 5 years?

Sen. Warren: “Yeah.” [Nods her head while clapping]

Trump: “Pocahontas says yes." [laughter]

Why this Matters: Trump ended the speech by saying he thinks God saved him from a bullet for the good of the country. Most of us would agree! He has proved again and again that he is earning our support and wants his legacy to be a stronger, safer, thriftier, and more conservative USA.

The polling is very revealing and shows tremendous approval among those who watched the speech. CBS found:

• 77% support his plan to cut government waste and spending

• 77% back his immigration and border policies

• 73% support his stance on Russia and Ukraine

• 68% say his speech made them feel hopeful and proud

How to Pray: Lies and deceit make a poor hiding place, but that is where Democrats have chosen to hang out. Pray for them! They need to have their eyes opened. Also pray for President Trump to keep a spirit of humility and be guided in how to lead this nation. Ask God to release His Spirit to bring revival as we continue to be grateful and repentant, knowing that our foundation will never be shaken.
