Elon Musk and DOGE continue to expose the web of financial theft behind the agencies funded by US tax dollars. One such group is the USIP (United States Institute of Peace), whose accounting firm deleted more than a terabyte of financial data as soon as DOGE got close. Employees tried to keep DOGE out—firing security, disabling phones, barricading doors, and hiding on the fifth floor.

Fortunately, DOGE was able to recover the data, with help from the FBI and DC Metro police. They found payments to Afghanistan officials and the Taliban. USIP receives funding from Congress and USAID, the Department of Defense, and other government agencies.

USIP was founded in 1984 to “promote conflict resolution” and “global peace-building.” In 2014, USIP created a “peace tech lab” as a 501c3 charity. One project under consideration was developing ways to deal with “fake news.” The agency receives $55 million each year. In the past 10 years, USIP has transferred $13 million to its private endowment, using the money mainly for private events and travel.

Almost all of the 300 USIP employees were fired Friday night, after DOGE fought for weeks to gain access to the building, and after Trump fired the agency’s ten voting board members. Two members of the Institute's board authorized removing and replacing the acting president with DOGE's Nate Cavanaugh.

Cavanaugh is working to transfer USIP’s assets—including real estate—to the Government Services Administration. Lawsuits have been filed to stop DOGE from transferring assets and firing the board.

This continues the strategy of 677 unelected district judges, mostly appointed by Democrat presidents, to stop Trump by declaring “nationwide” temporary injunctions.

Why this Matters: Outlets such as Newsweek bristle at the lack of experience of DOGE employees such as Cavanaugh, who is 28. He co-founded FlowFi, an accounting platform for startups. FlowFi reached seven figures in annual recurring revenue in its first year. Democrats insist that DOGE is conducting an “illegal power-grab.”

Clerical Error Drives Fake News

The Atlantic published a story that a “Maryland father” was deported by mistake. The story suggested that the Trump administration admitted it made a bad mistake by deporting an innocent man who had “protected status.”

Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt addressed the story today, describing it as a clerical error that suggested he was not a criminal. The deported man is a leader of MS-13 who was involved in human trafficking. What we also know:

• He crossed the southern border illegally in 2011

• Was caught loitering outside a Home Depot and detained

• Was brought before an immigration judge, who determined he was a a member of MS-13 and denied him bond. He also had multiple traffic violations and had failed to appear in court. The judge ordered his removal.

• He applied for asylum in 2019, eight years later, arguing that he would face harm in El Salvador

• The judge said he was a flight risk and danger to the community, because “the evidence show[ed] that he is a verified member of MS-13. That decision was upheld on appeal.

The Atlantic ran with their fake take on the deportation, even as Judge James Boasberg is sticking with his temporary restraining order that keeps DHS from deporting illegals. Rep. Andy Biggs (R-AZ) filed a resolution to remove Boasberg with a simple majority vote.

Newt Gingrich testified before a congressional committee, saying:

“The Founding Fathers deeply distrusted judges. They thought the lawyer class was dangerous, and if given unbridled power they would undermine and destroy free society. Nationwide injunctions violate the Constitution. Almost all were issued by judges chosen by Democrat presidents.”

In the same hearing on the possible illegal actions of the Judge, Chairman Jim Jordan (R-OH) says there are three avenues (4:05) for Congress to stop Boasberg and others from trying to circumvent President Trump’s authority:

1. Legislative: Pass a bill to say that no district judge can apply his ruling nationwide; or, such rulings will automatically be appealed to the Supreme Court

2. Oversight: Highlighting how ridiculous these rulings are

3. Power of the Purse: Defund these courts

Why this Matters: The Chief Justice of the Supreme Court can weigh in and stop this judicial tyranny. Pray that he does.

Proof of Rogue FBI

The House Judiciary Committee has released internal documents proving that the FBI had Hunter Biden’s laptop, but kept quiet in order to help Biden win the presidency.

In October 2020, just days before the Presidential Election, the New York Post ran a story on Hunter Biden’s laptop, verifying he owned it and that it contained proof of the Biden family’s sexual and financial crimes. That same day, the FBI imposed a gag order to squelch the story. There was a coordinated effort, aided by Big Tech, to discredit Donald Trump and MAGA supporters, suggesting they were making it up.

Below: FBI Unit Chief Laura Dehmlow testified that the laptop was verified by the FBI as real, but immediately another FBI official shut down any further discussion.

An internal FBI chat log shows FBI officials working to silence the story.

• “I think the right answer is nobody on the call is authorized to comment re: computer”

• “Skip it”

• “Please do not discuss Biden matter”

After the meeting referenced in the testimony above, a senior FBI lawyer put a “gag order” on the analyst. Facebook demoted the story the same week as the election.

Why this Matters: Americans agree on one thing: they disapprove of Democrats in Congress. CNN reported on a Quinnipiac poll revealing just 21 percent of all Americans approve of Democrat lawmakers:

• 49 percent of Democrats disprove of their own Party

• 77 percent of Democrats think Congress should do more to oppose Donald Trump

• 65 percent say they should stay more principled, even if nothing gets done

There is no coming together in our very divided county. The left wants lawmakers to double-down and fight the Trump agenda even harder.

Election Results

President Trump raided Congress to grab appointees for his administration, including Rep. Michael Waltz of Florida. A special election was held to replace him, along with Rep. Matt Gaetz, who resigned to pursue a media career after withdrawing his nomination as Attorney General. Two Republicans trounced their Democrat challengers to fill those seats: Jimmy Patronis and Randy Fine.

The Wisconsin Supreme Court election between far-left Susan Crawford (D) and Brad Schimel (R) landed in the Democrats’ column. Crawford handily won, even after Elon Musk invested time and money in the race. The blue cities of Milwaukee and Madison weighed heavily in the results. As it turns out, if Donald Trump is not on the ballot, it is difficult to get Republicans, populists, and conservatives to the polls.

Why this Matters: The 2025 Wisconsin Supreme Court race set a record, with spending at $90 million, much of it from out-of-state. The stakes were high, with analysts warning that Crawford will give the Democrats a Court majority so they can gerrymander, or re-draw, congressional boundaries to make sure Democrats gain State and US House seats.

The one bright spot is a ballot initiative to require voter ID, which passed. President Trump called it “a big win for Republicans…which should allow us to win [presidential elections] in Wisconsin…for many years to come.”

How to Pray: for courage to endure the trials we are facing every day, knowing that God’s strength is perfected in our weakness. Pray for President Trump’s protection, for DOGE warriors to continue finding waste, fraud, and abuse. Remember that this is a spiritual war against evil forces, not flesh and blood. Our victory is assured!
