Trump, Musk Destroy $48.5 Billion Drain

Donald Trump is doing everything we asked him, and more. The past few days have been particularly deadly for the liberal left and their progressive policies. With his latest executive orders and help from the DOGE team, Trump has yanked from DC’s most powerful bureaucrats access to their government accounts, their security clearances, and their piles of cash which is dutifully doled out to friends in high places the world over.

Gone is USAID, the CIA’s own special $48.5 billion bank account, and its 55,000 activist organizations that fund everything from gender programs in Africa, to overthrowing foreign governments.

Trump issued an executive order pausing foreign aid for 90 days, then 600 employees were locked out of the agency’s computer systems last night. The rest received emails saying that “at the direction of Agency leadership” the headquarters building “will be closed to Agency personnel on Monday, Feb. 3.”

Here is some of what we taxpayers have funded through USAID:

• $1.5 million for LGBTQ advocacy in Serbia

• $70,000 to create an Irish DEI musical, $47,000 for transgender operas in Colombia, and $32,000 on a trans comic book in Peru

• $1.3 billion for windmills in Kazakhstan

• $5 billion in 2014 to ignite a color revolution in Ukraine and topple its democratically-elected government

• $27 million for US prosecutors to go after Donald Trump, funneled through several charities to hide its source.

President Kennedy created USAID through executive order in 1961, and its demise stirred outrage among Democrats. Senator Chuck Schumer called Trump’s purge of USAID employees and programs “illegal,” and “against our national interests.” Don’t be confused. Democrats aren’t angry about the money as much as they’re afraid of Elon Musk having access to their schemes.

End of Inflation?

Elon Musk thinks he can reduce the deficit by $1 trillion next year, and says it will cause a cascading effect for Americans. “We have a $2 trillion deficit, which is far in excess of economic growth,” he told reporters. “If we can get that deficit in half, from 2 trillion to 1 trillion, and we can get the economic growth to match that 1 trillion growth in the money supply, that means there will be no inflation.”

USAID and COVID

By shutting down the organization and its 10,000 employees, Trump is also closing the door to Ecohealth Alliance, which funded creation of covid in the Wuhan lab in China. The CIA now admits that is most probably how the “pandemic” started.

In other words, Fauci and his National Institutes of Allergies and Infectious Diseases and USAID sent $40 million to Wuhan for “bat coronavirus emergence” research. The researcher then became “patient zero” for covid-19. We have been funding it from 2014-2024.

Why this Matters: USAID was one of many government agencies that have refused to cooperate with President Trump. More than 50 career civil servants and foreign service officers at USAID attempted to circumvent Trump’s initial EO suspending foreign funding, and were placed on paid leave. They also attempted to prevent Musk and DOGE from accessing classified material. Musk and his team have all been cleared for such access. During Trump’s first administration, USAID officials tried to sabotage many of his initiatives and undermine his appointees.

Monday afternoon, Secretary of State Marco Rubio was appointed Acting Administrator of USAID. It will be merged, with significant cuts to the workforce, into the State Department.

Locked Out and GONE

Also refusing to cooperate are a slew of others in the Deep State government’s service. From the Department of Justice, to Treasury, and the Office of Personnel Management, Donald Trump is cleaning house.

• All federal prosecutors handling J6 cases have been fired. Their computers were locked on Friday and they were marched out of their offices. On Sunday, a leaked memo was published revealing that “thousands” of FBI employees were involved in investigating Trump and his supporters.

• FBI Agents are planning to walk off the job tomorrow and protest the president, which is illegal, and grounds for termination. Maybe they should talk to the air traffic controllers who went on strike in 1981 and were fired by President Reagan.

• The 51 intelligence officers who lied, calling Hunter Biden’s laptop “Russian misinformation,” are banned from entering federal properties. A leaked email was published revealing that former CIA Director John Brennan compelled the others to lie in order to help Biden just before the 2020 election.

• Federal employees who had been working from home will have to make a decision: either return to the office, or leave. The President has offered a generous compensation package that pays them salary and benefits until September. Two million have already resigned. Those who are found to have been working a second job while working for Uncle Sam may be prosecuted.

OPM

Musk’s team assumed command of the Office of Personnel Management upon Trump’s inauguration. They moved sofa beds onto the fifth floor of the HQ in order to work around the clock. Since all of the senior officials of OPM were working from home, DOGE simply changed the passwords, making the systems inaccessible. Musk has also barred their access to buildings.

Treasury

David Lebryk, controller of the computerized payment system at the Treasury Dept., refused to give Trump's team access. Why? DOGE was about to do an audit.

The Treasury Department has a $6 trillion annual budget. Lebryk decided to retire instead of comply. Musk wrote on X that career Treasury officials are “breaking the law every hour of every day by approving payments that are fraudulent or do not match the funding laws passed by Congress.”

DEI Clean-up

Last week, the Senate confirmed several Trump appointees, including Pete Hegseth as Secretary of Defense, and Sean Duffy to head the Department of Transportation. They have begun pulling DEI out of their departments:

• No more official Juneteenth and LGBTQ celebrations

• No more use of pronouns on government communications

• No more reimbursement of travel expenses for military personnel to receive an abortion.

• 8,000 government webpages taken down to remove DEI and "gender ideology"

Canada, Mexico, Panama Cave to Trump

President Trump chastised Mexico and Canada for their lack of control over the US border. The problems include mass immigration, human trafficking, and fentanyl—which is the number one killer of Americans aged 18-45—for which the ingredients are produced in China.

The President recently said he would be retaliating against the governments of Mexico and Canada by placing a 25 percent tariff on imports—with the exception of Canadian energy, which will be at 10 percent. China will pay an additional 10 percent to its current tariffs.

Within a few days, they caved to his requests, mainly because at least 75 percent of the market for their goods is the USA.

Mexico agreed to put 10,000 additional troops on the border, and Canada agreed to implement a $1.3 billion border plan to add new helicopters, technology and 10,000 personnel. Canada will also appoint a Fentanyl Czar

Each year Panama charges $2.5-$3 million to move US Navy ships through the Canal—even though the US is responsible for their defense. Yesterday, President Trump and Marco Rubio ended those payments. The President of Panama also announced that they will not renew one of their trade initiatives with China; instead, there will be increasing US investment in Panama.

Why this Matters: Trump is back, wiser and stronger, and one enormous money stream to corrupt politicians has been turned off. We can tell who’s been on the take by their level of outrage.

Rep. Jamie Raskin blasted Elon Musk today outside USAID HQ, declaring that Democrats will block DOGE from eliminating government waste and fraud.

How to Pray: For Trump and his new teams who are now occupying the bureaucracy, that God would supply all of their needs and fill the vacancies with excellent people. Praise God from whom every blessing flows, and His wonderful Son, who gave His life for us. Lift up the families who are grieving after the air tragedies, and ask God to heal their broken hearts.
